Maia has always been been so beautiful (sassy, but beautiful!)! Here is her 6 month baby book:

Dance Dance Baby

Maia has taken up dance again. This time with her bestie Vivian. And she couldn't be happier!
Today marked the 4 week class where parents are allowed to observe. Yep, I swelled up with pride and got a little teary once again (you should expect this from me by now). Her confidence is through the roof when she dances (as if confidence has ever really a problem for her!).

Maia is actually learning and retaining quite a bit of info each session. And therefore so am I. We now practice ballet positions and jumps at home together. And all of these different positions and jumps have names which Maia knows but I do not! Her coordination and balance have definitely improved. And she has FUN! Dance is her favorite hour of each week.

Up next - Maia begins theatre class as her newest obsession is to "sing on a stage". Look out Oscars...we've got a budding star on our hands (I mean did see her "Distraught Broncos Fan" performance HERE).

Eva had trouble sitting still this week. She wanted to get in the dance action. The instructor was nice enough to let her dance with the class during the last song and she was very proud! Hold tight Eva, you get gymnastics, you have to be 3 to dance. You'll get there!

Gymnastics (Week 5)

Eva appears to enjoy the bars and rings the best. Balance beams the least. Her strength and flexibility on the bars is pretty awesome for her age. Her confidence continues to grow each week. Especially evident in her independent jumps this week.
